Faith in Motion

My fitness regiment is my faith  in motion. This is how the Lord taught me about faith in correlation to fitness.  The keyword is “perseverance” I witnessed this first hand when I saw a trainer in a gym years go, kneeling next to this woman who was on  her back on the floor, struggling to do sit-ups. With every crunch the lady gasped, “ it hurts,” but her trainer echoed “ we’ll just have to strengthen that muscle so it’ll stop hurting”. Her stiff tone  baffled me at first,  but the Holy Spirit immediately spoke in my heart and whispered in His usual small soft voice, “it’s the same way  with your faith”. When your faith is tried you feel the pangs of despair but in reality our spiritual muscles are being strengthened. Pain indicates weakness. . Resistance makes makes us resilient.

The greater the resistance, the stronger the muscle, It’s just the law of physics. When you are treading  on the treadmill of life on a steady but calculated pace, remember in time you will reach your destination. The pace is pre-calculated according to the task so that you don’t crash and burn before your designated time.

Suited for Interesting Times

The double breasted blazer has doubled down its boldness with a few improv to its gallantry. I’m excited to share how you can tone down the elegant structure of the extra folds and easily transform the flashy form of armor from shabby to dapper. With just a touch of your own creativity the double breasted blazer can be spruced into an Interesting outfit for Interesting times.

Up until the 1940s, [DBs] were considered too casual to wear in a formal office environment,” says Patrick Johnson, of Australia’s P. Johnson Tailors, which does made-to-measure work in Sydney and New York and sells ready-to-wear suits, including a lightly structured DB in tropical wool, via Barneys New York and Mr Porter. “It wasn’t until the Duke of Windsor started to champion them that they started to become accepted in the workplace.”

Timeless Inspiration

I’m passionate about everything that’s beautiful, and inspiring! My name is Sophia Wilson. My journey to this place began with a voracious desire to help others see the inner beauty of even the most dilapidated situations. These past couple of years were constantly bombarded by waves upon waves of contemplation on my hopes of taking off as a blogger. But I had to rise from beneath the heaviness. Being a stay home mom for the past 11 years Has not only taught me about being strong, but also resilient. No task is too daunting when your heart’s bursting with words of encouragement that needs sharing. Being married to the most wonderful man of God for the past 21 years and having been privileged to raise 6 amazing children, made me realize my value as a stay home parent for the preservation of the my American family. As you journey with me through my blog you will be amazed at how a Singaporean girl like me received a second lease in life and grew into quite the skilled domestic engineer .Like everyone else my journey is predestined and the Choice to walk it out was solely mine. At age 50, I have decided to take on this milestone with a new found faith and stamina. There’s still so much to accomplish. I hope to share a slices of my life with you through the pictures and words that’ll be added to my posts regularly. Please feel free to comment or compliment, remembering that your words are just as powerful as the the images I will be sharing. Welcome to my “Timeless Inspirations!
